Everyone deserves to heal from the trama that chains them in place. In our other programs like 942-Stop, we noticed that a large population of women of color were seeking help but not finishing the programs, and we came to learn that this was because of a lack of representation in the healing process- so we created RAPHA. Here women of color see themselves and their struggles reflected in the community around them where they can feel supported and truly encouraged to utilize the resources they need to heal.
Heal it.
Through workshops, programs, and healing circles, we help women of color acknowledge and heal from the trauma, substance abuse, or mental health disorders that they lack resources to fight alone. We create a space for women who need a safe, accepting, and judgement-free atmosphere to feel their pain and to be supported while they move through their healing journey.
